Andrew Elder is Vice President for Marketing Sciences at Illuminas. His responsibilities as a methodological consultant include research design, sampling, statistical analysis, and interpretation for research projects that serve some of the world’s best known technology companies. Prior to joining Illuminas in 2000, Andrew spent nearly five years designing and analyzing a broad variety of research studies at IntelliQuest, including TIMS™, a leading media planning tool for the technology sector.
Andrew is recognized as an expert among international research professionals. He has presented at conferences across the globe, chaired an international conference on survey innovation, and tutored researchers at ESOMAR workshops. He has extensive experience in the areas of branding, market segmentation, conjoint analysis, and online survey methodology, and frequently publishes findings in these subjects.
Mr. Elder earned a B.S. in political science from Washington University in St. Louis, which he augmented with an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
